The lake edge in front of the hotel offers the most magnificent backdrop for your wedding ceremony or cocktail function, and there are many special touches to add such as arches, red carpet, chairs, microphone and music. Worry free - bad weather alternative venue is the lakefront lounge bar area.
Pre reception drinks and canapés are served in the lounge bar.
Regency room is the hotel’s upstairs venue – treat guests with the fabulous views over lake, mountain and town. Luxuriously decorated in shades of silver taupe and brown this room has a very elegant appearance when set up with chair covers and sashes to match your color choice.
Our buffet or set menus are truly a gourmet spread that will not disappoint you or guests – chef also caters for special dietary requirements.

Room types include luxurious VIP Suites, two and one bedroom apartments, deluxe rooms with spa baths, studio double/double and queen, all elegantly furnished with that touch of class. The majority of rooms are on the lake edge with stunning views of lake and mountains and township.
All rooms have individual air conditioning, large screen tv, video players, coffee tea facilities, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, Millennium Manuels have mini bar and all are non smoking.
Wedding Venue options – full wedding reception with Grand Buffet, music and dancing is catered for in the beautiful Regency Room upstairs, with magnificent views overlooking Lake Taupo, mountains and township. Special package deals are offered for 60 to 140 guests in this venue.
Edgewater Restaurant right on the lakefront is another popular venue for 50 – 70 guests who favour set menu options with no dancing.
Cuisine -Chef Glen Sando has many awards to his credit and is happy to design menus to suit your requirements.
Ceremony options – on the absolute LAKE EDGE – it does not get any better than this, plus, we have the added security bad weather option of moving into our luxurious lakefront lounge bar area on the day.
Alternatively you may choose an off site church or garden ceremony with your reception at the hotel
